  This can be applied to everyone. This can be beneficial in everyday use. For example what if someone says something and you get offended or mad. Its going to provoke you to want to do something and this is where you would repeat to yourself " if it is not right then I shall not do it". Or you might be thinking something not good to try and get back at someone and might want to tell a lie. As we know if it is not true then we must not day it. Even if you dont mean it or see it as a joke it can still affect other people.

World War II

The world war started from September 1, 1939 - September 2, 1945. The war was fought against two countries. These countries were in groups. These groups were called “The axis powers” and “The allies”. The axis powers had Germany Italy and Japan. On the other side which was the allies were Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India,the Soviet Union, China and the United states of America.The commanders of the axis power were Adolf Hitler, Hirohito, and Benito Mussolini. The commanders of the allies were Joseph Stalin, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, Chiang Kai-Shek, and Charles De Gualle. World War ll took place all over the world. It took place in East Asia, Europe and the islands in the pacific ocean. Some fighting was seen as far away as the Aleutian islands, Madagascar and South America.  Hitler invaded Poland in September 1939, France and Britain declared war on Germany.  After conquering Poland, Germany attacked France. France fell in June 1940, and soon the Nazis overran most of the rest of Europe and North Africa.

Winning and loosing does not matter when it comes to doing the right thing or being honorable and fair. Sometimes its better to loose and do the right thing than to win and do the wrong thing. For example what Brian Davis did. Truly shows what kind of man he is. He has showed us that he has integrity and a good man setting an example for his children. He could have not said anything and gotten away with it but he felt in his heart to choose the right.

                        HPHS Student Heroes

  It was two students Hayro and Daniel. They had just came out of school and had decided to go to the convenient store. Once they got there as they were looking at the different items in the store they saw an elderly man and noticed he looked very sad. After they had bought their chips or whatever they got they were walking and as they are walking the boys see something on the ground. The boys decide to approach it and they see its a wallet. They pick up the wallet and look through it. It contained everything any ordinary wallet would and it had an ID. They take out the ID and noticed it was the same man from the store. They look at each other and go back and return it. The man was very greatfull and thanked them.

            Dental Assistant  

Duties and responsibilities: Their duties include preparing patients for treatments and teeth cleaning, plus sterilizing instruments. They often assist dentists during procedures by using suction equipment to clear patient’s mouth.Ensure that patients are comfortable in the dental chair

• Prepare patients and the work area for treatments and procedures
• Sterilize dental instruments
• Help dentists by handing them instruments during procedures
• Keep patients’ mouths dry by using suction hoses and other equipment
• Instruct patients in proper oral hygiene
• Process x rays and complete lab tasks, under the direction of a dentist
• Keep records of dental treatments
• Schedule patient appointments
• Work with patients on billing and payment

Salary: dental assistants ranges from about $24,580 to $49,540.

Education:  dental assistants to graduate from an accredited program and pass an exam. Most programs are offered by community colleges, although they also may be offered by vocational or technical schools.

Demand for this profession:1 year to complete and lead to a certificate or diploma.High school students interested in a career as a dental assistant should take courses in biology, chemistry, and anatomy.

Reflection: This profession takes a lot of work. I wouldn’t mind being a dental assistant. It seems interesting and i don’t think you would get bored of it.

 Having integrity is good because you prosper from it and grow as a better person each day you become greater and greater. Each day is a new day to have the courage to say no even though you might feel bad or don't want to hurt others feelings. Each day you have the opportunity to face the truth whether we like it or not because the truth always comes out. We should face the truth even if it does have consequences because all our actions have a reaction may it be good or bad. We should always do the right thing because it is right there should be no reason to choose the wrong thing just because we feel like it.  You should be the first one to forgive when in a situation because holding that anger inside you wont do anyone any good and just like god forgives us we should do the same with other people we are no one to judge others actions.

This proverb is saying that if you hang out with good people then you yourself will do good. This is because  good people will lead you to do good and they will encourage you to choose the right path. If you were to be friends with the wrong people then they would encourage you to to bad things. For example , if you have a test on Friday and you have good friends they would tell you to go study with them. So they always help you choose the right . If you were to have bad friends they would tell you to go out with them to a party  and that's why you choose the right people to hang out with. You should surround yourself with good people because good people will bring out the good in you and they want to see the good come from you. Hanging out with the wrong crowd will lead to your faliure and if you stay like that choosing the wrong people then what will become of your life.             

Thanksgiving And Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day Started on 1621 by plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indian.America have held ceremonies to give thanks for successful harvests, for the hope of a good growing season in the early spring, and for other good fortune such as the birth of a child. Giving thanks was, and still is, the primary reason for ceremonies or celebrations.Thanksgiving Day parades are held in some cities and towns on or around Thanksgiving Day. Some parades or festivities also mark the opening of the Christmas shopping season. Some people have a four-day weekend so it is a popular time for trips and to visit family and friends. Thanksgiving is a public holiday. It is traditionally for families and friends to get together for a special meal. This meal includes food such as turkey, stuffing, potato, cornbread, lasagna, and vegtables.

It doesnt matter the situation your in right is always going to be right and wrong will always be wrong. This means that just because people want to do whatever they want, doesn't mean its the right thing to do. If people are doing the wrong thing you choose the right and don't give in and start doing it with them, you stand up and start doing the right thing. The right thing to do will always be the right thing and the wrong will always be the wrong. So you always have to do the right thing because its the right thing to do. People fall into temptation choosing the wrong shouldnt be a trend poeple should take a stand to do the right thing. 

 

BioMedical Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:  Biomedical engineers design instruments, devices, and software used in healthcare. They develop new procedures using knowledge from technical sources. Biomedical engineers design electrical circuits, software to run medical equipment, or computer simulations to test new drug therapies.

Salary: $88,040

Education: Biomedical engineers need a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or bioengineering. Some positions may require a graduates degree.

Demand or Need for this profession: Biomedical engineers must analyze the needs of patients and customers to design appropriate solutions. Biomedicals must be creative to come up with innovative and integrative advances in healthcare equipment and devices.

We have to know where are priorities are. We have to know how to make the best decisons for what we want to achieve. Its important we know what we want. It wont help to be indecisive. If we know what we want then it will be easier to get closer to our goal. You might want alot of things but we shouldnt sacrifice what we want most for what we want now.

 Veterans Day

  Veterans Day is an official United States public holiday that honors military veterans. Veterans Day is on November 11. It is important that we show honor on veterans day because we focus on the true purpose of this day and we honor americas veterans for their patriotism, love for the country, willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. Some ways to show honor is to attend a parade for the veterans. You can also show honor by donating to different organizations and you can talk to a veteran and ask how was life in serivce. If you know any veterans you can write them just to show appreciation. It's important to know the difference between memorial day and veterans day.

Having a good name is better than anything. Whether you do something good or something bad your actions will always be known no matter what. It's better to be knwon a good person than to be known a bad. We choose how poeple will see us. For example, you can ask about someone and they will tell you whether hes  a good person or bad. They put up a reputation and of course no one wants a bad reputation everyone want a good one. Everyone wants a clean name but some people just cant live up to it. Some people choose the wrong and thats not cool. Its better to choose the right because then you know you werent the one at fault.

I agree with this statement because no one wants to be remembered with having a bad reputation. It better to be known as a great honest humble man than a bad lying man. For example Lavell Edwards he didn’t have a bad name he was trustworthy and respectful so the man listened to him. Someone can be very wealthy and have multiple cars, houses, own businesses but can have the worst character ever. You can be rich and own all these things but if you don’t have a good name then no one will want to hang out with you or be your friend. You may not have the best car or best house but you will have the best family and support from others because they know you have a good name and are a good person.

   Chiropractor

Duties and responsibilities: A chiropractor is a healthcare professional  that is focused on the manipulation of the spine and that  affects the peripheral nervous system. So they care for patients with neuromusculoskeletal system. These include nerves, bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons. They analyze the patient’s posture, spine, and reflexes.     

Salary: $68,640

Education: Doctoral or professional degree

Demand for this profession: Chiropractors must determine the best choice when treating a patient. They need to be very observant and aware of the details in order to make the correct diagnosis. They need to have good coordination because they use their hands.

Reflection: A chiropractor is someone who helps with your nervous system and your spinal cord. I wouldnt like to choose this profession. This is because it doesn’t seem like something I’d be comfortable with. Also, im not very fond with the idea of cutting into people’s backs or putting bones back in place.

Not everyone around you will always make the right choices and will encourage you to do the same. You need to take a stand even if stand alone even if people make fun of you. This is because we know what is right and if we do the right thing it makes us better people. People who choose the right are the most happiest. We have to be true to what is right. Don’t worry about what other people will think of you because at the end of the day you know you chose the right and that’s all that matters.

I completely agree with this statement. Success is a choice and one we should all make. You cant expect  to see a change when you dont make one. You have to step up an push yourself to become greater than you were yesterday and better than you are now. You make your own future you choose to make your dreams a reality. It all has to do with making the choice of success.

When one becomes obedient one remains happy. This is because when one is obedient they do not choose the wrong they do what is right. When people do what is right no harm comes to them . Its easier for someone tojust follow the rules than to not. When someone does not follow the rules they keep digging themselves in a hole which will not be easy to get out of.  The more obedient you are the more building blocks you will create and the less obedient you are more building blocks will crumble and fall.

Most people like to think that being obedient is not cool or its not something we should do. But once someone understands the true meaning of being obedient it becomes a step closer to your goal. When people are not obedient that step will start to crack and little by little it will tumble and fall. So instead of making our steps crumble and fall we should make them multiply and thrive. 

Audiologist

Duties and Responsibilities:  Examine people who have ear problems. They fit and dispense hearing aids. They evaluate patients regularly and record patient progress. They use audiometers and computers to evaluate the patient.

Salary: $75,920

Education: They need a doctoral degree and licensed in all states.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Demand or Need for this profession: Audiologist need to communicate so patients can clearly understand the situation.

                                                                  

Athletic Trainer

Duties and Responsibilities:  They apply protective or injury prevention devices. For example, they apply tape, bandages, and braces. They inspect for any injuries. They do emergency care.

Salary: $46,630

Education: Athletic trainers need at least a bachelor’s degree from a college or university

Demand or Need for this profession:  Athletic trainers need to be sympathetic and make informed clinical decisions. They also need to have good interpersonal skills

Reflection: I would not like to become an athletic trainor 

Obedience

Obedience will get you to a level D in our classroom. If we are obedient it makes it easier for both the teacher and the student. If we are obedient we will learn and if we are not then we will not learn. We are not obedient because we are blind we are obedient because we can see. Once you are able to see and understand the meaning of being obedient then you yourself will want to be obedient as often as you can.
